Stupid Words

I heard so many stupid words when I was a student of English Department...
None of them even have meanings at all...
Unless off course you know who said it...

So, Agam favorite words are "Maknyosh Yahud dan Tidak Palsu"...
Literally, it means whatever he's having, whatever he has, whatever he sees and so on are Very Good, Superb and Not Fake at all. It is not even funny when you translated into English but when you hear the sentence in Indonesian plus the expression on how he said it, it was funny and still is.

Another favorite word of a friend of mine named Andre is COF...
Literally, it does not mean anything. Whenever anyone asked about the meaning of the word, all he ever said was "COF means C-O-F" - all he ever did was spelling the word. The word is still mysterious.

Funny thing about a dialect is that it makes us unique. A friend of mine, John, whose origin is Papua has a unique way of speaking. It flows like a rhythm. His unforgettable word for me is "CUPU". In English, it means lame. The word itself is quite popular but the way he said it was the one that makes him unique. The word "CUPU" is pronounced with a U stopped but John pronounced it as floating, as if his word was unfinished.
